FIRE SAFETY FUN NIGHT
The annual Fire Safety Fun Night sponsored by South Haven Area Emergency Services was held on October 7. The free 14th annual event coincided with National Fire Prevention Week. It featured hands-on live demonstrations. There were also prizes and complimentary refreshments thanks to generous South Haven merchants and donors.
SHAES staff will be bringing the fire safety message to elementary-age students in South Haven schools in the coming days. This year’s national fire prevention campaign theme is “Learn the Sounds of Fire Safety”. SHAES has created a series of daily messages for its Facebook page.
