SHAES launches new website
South Haven Emergency Services (SHAES) has launched a new website — https://shaes.org/ — that continues the organization’s commitment to communicate with the community it serves.
This is the first significant re-design since the initial website was created by SHAES members more than a decade ago, according to Chief Brandon Hinz.
“Our goal was to have a website that clearly communicates with the community, reports on current activities and is a depository of the rich history of our department,” said Hinz.
South Haven Area Emergency Services (SHAES) provides fire protection and advanced medical ambulance service to the City of South Haven and townships of Casco, Geneva and South Haven. It responded to nearly 3,000 calls for service last year.
The department also has an active Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/shaesfire/). The new website is designed to more efficiently integrate the messaging of the two.
“The way social media has evolved in recent years requires that we be able to communicate in a timelier fashion with our constituents,” said Hinz.
The redesign was coordinated by department members Brian Horan, Jr., Tim Quinn and Tom Renner utilizing the services of Denise Hartmann of i-Create Web, LLC.
