SHAES gets dispatched to a fair amount of alarms, smoke, CO, medical alerts, iPhone crash alerts. Even though they may seem troublesome because often they are false alarms, they are there for a reason.
Two incidents early Friday morning were reminders of that. A smoke alarm at a hotel turned out to be a burned-up swimming pool pump and a CO alarm at a residence that had an actual CO incident which resulted in a transport of a person to the ER for evaluation. Thankfully, happy conclusions.
Please check your batteries, check the manufacture dates. If the dates are at/near or over 10 years of age, replace them.

Also a reminder, be sure to use the factory-recommended or provided charging devices and cords for your battery-powered devices. SHAES had an incident last week with a battery-powered device that caught fire in a local business. Thankfully none of the structure was involved, but scary nonetheless.
